Amazing Volunteer Development!

We scored BIG on the volunteer front!!!
(But we need help to make it a reality)
We have a retirement age couple who have wholeheartedly offered to move to Cambodia and be a part of FreelyGiven for at least FIVE YEARS! The ministry benefits that they would add to our team would be immeasurable.
The husband in this dynamic duo would teach our older children all the way through high school, and the wife is already extremely excited to dive into work at the orphanage and would also provide secretarial services to us! On top of all of that, their presence in country would enable Nic to do so much more local ministry.
One amazing aspect of their situation is that, after the cost of the relocation and the first year of service, they would be fully financially sustained by their retirement funds. So, the only funding necessary is ONE YEAR ONLY of monthly support of $1,000 per month, as well as an initial base of funds, which would cover packing up a house, a U.S. storage unit, visas, airfare, etc.As you may imagine, this is a significant undertaking for anyone, let alone a couple at their stage of life. We are so proud and inspired by their willingness!
Who IS this mystery couple???
It’s Jacelyn’s parents!!!
Since our first journey to the mission field oh so long ago, we have always hoped that her parents would one day relocate and join us as fellow missionaries and we are overjoyed that the time is now rapidly approaching!
A little of their background for you:
David, her father, was a pastor in the Assemblies of God for 40 years and has been working as a teacher for the past decade. Pamela, her mom, has always been heavily involved in church ministry and is truly eager to pour out her heart for the people of Cambodia! They also have spent a full month here last summer, scoping the place out and thinking of the eventual logistics!
So, thanks be to God, we are now beginning fundraising efforts to bring the ministry of this amazing couple to Cambodia! As stated above, we are looking for monthly supporters, as well as one-time donors.
