The Next 8 Months!
A quick update for you all:
Jacelyn’s residency is finally coming to an end and we are excited to have a few new adventures on the horizon.
First stop: Seward, Alaska! Jacelyn has a month-long rural rotation in July and we will be taking our clan to this beautiful spot on the southern coast of Alaska for the month. During this time we are planning to host a mission trip to both Seward, as well as the location Jacelyn rotated last year, Kotzebue. So, if you’re interested in coming on the trip, contact me ASAP!!!
Second stop: Kenya, Africa!!! Jacelyn will officially be DONE with residency in mid-September! As many of you know, medical missions is the entire reason we have taken this lengthy journey through medical school and residency. Therefore, we are taking our first chance to get overseas. We plan to spend a month in this amazing country (with our kiddos, of course!) where Jacelyn will work in a dispensary outside of Nairobi and I will share the Gospel at local parishes as well as a convent. Look for more details on this amazing adventure in the coming months!
Third stop: We can’t wait to find out! With much prayer we are exploring multiple opportunities both at home and abroad. One of the important considerations is how to most quickly pay off medical school debt, which will provide greater freedom to continue pursuing medical missions.
